About this product
Bambu Lab Hotends Combo — H2 Series
Nozzles are consumables. If you run carbon-fibre PA, glass-filled nylon, glow-in-the-dark PLA or metal-infused filament, brass wears out fast — and on a dual-nozzle machine you need matched pairs, not singles. This kit solves both problems: four hardened steel quick-swap hotends supplied as two matched pairs, so you can keep one size loaded for everyday work and swap to a second size in under a minute.
The quick-swap design splits the thermal and electronic sections behind an unlock latch. No spanner, no cold-pull, no hot-tightening — pop the old hotend out, click the new one in, and the printer re-detects the nozzle.

Key features
- Hardened steel throughout. Rated to 350°C, so ABS, ASA, PC, PA6-CF and PPS-CF are all on the table — not just PLA and PETG.
- High-flow nozzles use a CHT-style tip that splits the filament path three ways for better heat transfer. On a 0.4mm nozzle with PLA that lifts maximum volumetric flow from 24 mm³/s to 40 mm³/s — roughly a 30% cut in print time on large, infill-heavy parts.
- Matched pairs for dual-nozzle printing. The H2 dual-nozzle function only runs nozzles of the same size, which is why every configuration in this kit ships 2 + 2 rather than four odd sizes.
- Consistent dimensional accuracy as the nozzles age — steel holds its orifice diameter far longer than brass when you're pushing composites.
- No re-calibration drama. Swap, run a quick flow calibration in Bambu Studio, and print.
Choosing your configuration (grouped by series)
Bambu Lab sells hotends across several printer families, and they are not interchangeable. This kit is the H2 Series group — it fits H2D, H2S, H2C, X2D and P2S only. It will not fit A1, A1 mini, P1 or X1 machines, which use a different hotend interface.
Within the H2 Series group, pick by what you print:
- 0.2mm — miniatures, jewellery masters, fine text and small mechanical detail. Slow, but nothing else touches the surface finish.
- 0.4mm — the default. Best all-round balance of detail and speed for prototypes and general parts.
- 0.6mm — the practical choice for carbon-fibre and glass-filled filaments (Bambu recommends 0.6mm or larger for CF/GF), plus stronger layer bonding on functional parts.
- 0.8mm — large enclosures, jigs, fixtures and thick-walled production parts where wall strength beats surface finish.
- HF (High Flow) — same nozzle diameter, much higher throughput. Pair an HF nozzle with a standard one when you want a fast body and a fine-detail second material.
Note for H2C owners: H2-Series hotends fit the left (lifting) hotend position on the H2C. Check your machine's nozzle position before ordering if you're replacing a specific side.
What's in the box
- 4 × Bambu Lab H2-Series hotends with hardened steel nozzles, supplied as 2 matched pairs in your chosen configuration
- Each hotend is a complete assembly — heater, thermistor and nozzle in one quick-swap unit
- Protective packaging per hotend
No tools are required for installation. Silicone sock and hotend covers are not included unless already fitted to your printer.
Compatible materials
Rated for 40+ Bambu Lab and third-party materials, including PLA (Basic, Matte, Silk, Metal, Marble, Glow), PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, TPU, PVA/PLA support filaments, and abrasive composites such as PA6-CF, PPS-CF, glass-filled and metal-infused blends. For carbon-fibre and glass-fibre filaments, use a 0.6mm or larger nozzle to avoid clogging.
