Which bus cable do I need?

Bambu bus cables are keyed by pin count and length, and they are not interchangeable. The rule of thumb:

• 4-pin, 260 mm — printer to Hub or Buffer. This is the one that fails most often, because it flexes every print.
• 6-pin, 510 mm — AMS to Hub, Buffer, or a neighbouring AMS sitting close by.
• 6-pin, 1500 mm — AMS to AMS over a longer run, for multi-unit setups or a shelf-mounted AMS.

All three use PVC jacketing with metal connector shells in black. If you're diagnosing an intermittent AMS dropout or a "filament runout" that isn't real, a suspect bus cable is the cheapest thing to swap first.

PTFE tubes — replace them on schedule

PTFE tube is a wear item, especially if you run abrasive filaments like carbon-fibre or glow-in-the-dark PLA. Bambu supplies pre-cut sets matched to each printer, so you replace like-for-like instead of trimming stock tube and hoping the length is right. Sets exist for P1P, P1S, X1C, A1, A1 mini, A2L, H2D, H2S, H2C and the internal runs inside AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT.

Note: Bambu ships two physically different versions of the 4-pin bus cable and supplies them interchangeably — both are electrically identical and fit the same ports.
