Bambu Lab PPS-CF is a carbon-fibre reinforced polyphenylene sulfide filament built for parts that have to survive heat, chemicals and flame where ordinary engineering plastics give up.
PPS-CF sits at the very top of Bambu Lab’s engineering filament range. The base polymer — polyphenylene sulfide — is a semi-crystalline high-performance thermoplastic used in automotive under-bonnet components, chemical processing equipment and electrical hardware. Bambu Lab reinforces it with chopped carbon fibre for stiffness and dimensional stability, producing a filament that stays structurally useful at temperatures where PLA, PETG and even ASA have long since deformed.
This is a specialist material, not an everyday one. It suits engineers, workshops, research groups and small manufacturers printing functional end-use parts: sensor housings and brackets that live near an engine or heater, jigs and fixtures exposed to solvents, insulators and connector bodies that need inherent flame retardancy, and semiconductor or laboratory tooling that must not off-gas or swell. If your part needs to be tough and hot and chemically exposed, PPS-CF is the answer — and it is delivered in a single production colour, Black (76100).

PPS-CF needs both a very hot hotend and a heated, enclosed chamber. Bambu Lab lists it as compatible with the X1E and H2D only — machines with active chamber heating and a hotend rated past 300°C. It will not print successfully on a P1P, P1S, X1C, A1 or A1 mini. A hardened steel nozzle is mandatory: the carbon fibre will chew through a stainless or brass nozzle quickly. Use 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm hardened; the 0.2 mm nozzle is not compatible, and 0.6 mm is the sweet spot for flow and reliability.

Dry it properly, every time. PPS-CF absorbs very little moisture compared with nylon, but the carbon fibre content still traps water and a wet spool prints with poor surface finish and weak layers. A standard filament dryer topping out at 70°C will not do the job here — you need a blast drying oven at 100–140°C. Load the spool straight from the dryer into a sealed AMS or dry box with fresh desiccant and print it the same day.
Anneal for real-world heat performance. Straight off the printer, PPS-CF is only partly crystallised. If your part will actually see sustained high temperatures, anneal it at 180–220°C for 6–12 hours — this significantly lifts strength and heat resistance. Expect a small amount of shrinkage during annealing, so print a test part first and dial in your dimensions before committing to a final run. Keep the chamber at temperature and part cooling low throughout the print: PPS-CF is sensitive to warping, and a draught across a hot part is the fastest route to a delaminated corner.
Nour Engineering Solutions accepts returns or refunds for change of mind or wrong items ordered within 30 days from the purchase date. Customers need to return the items to Nour Engineering Solutions, ensuring the items are in brand new, unused condition. Customers will also be charged for the cost of the original shipping and a re-stocking fee equal to 10% of the order value.
In case of items arriving damaged or wrong items being sent to the customer, Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for either exchanging stock for the customer or issuing a refund.
In the case of defective returns, refunds will only be issued after the items are returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for the return postage, and the customer should provide reasonable assistance for the defective items to be picked up by courier, such as packing the items and printing shipping labels.
Once the order is dispatched, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up the shipment. If the items arrive damaged, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions within 2 business days after receiving the order. If the item does not arrive within 2 business days of the expected delivery date, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions immediately. Nour Engineering Solutions may refuse to refund or exchange items if the customer fails to do so.
In case the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the parcel will be forwarded to the local Post Office or News Agency. Failure to pick up parcels within the required timeframe may result in the parcel being returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. In this case, customers will be responsible for the costs associated with re-sending the parcel.
