Bambu Lab 3D Effect Plate Full Combo — 256 mm

Most build plates are judged on how well a print sticks. These ones are judged on how the bottom looks when it comes off. The 3D Effect Plate Full Combo gives you all four of Bambu Lab's decorative surfaces — Starry, Galaxy, Diamond and Carbon Fibre — so the first layer of a print becomes a finished face rather than something you sand, paint or hide.

Each one is a complete 256 × 256 mm spring-steel plate, not a sticker or a sheet you have to apply yourself. Swap it onto the magnetic heatbed, pick the right plate type in the slicer, and print. It's the fastest way to make coasters, signage, badges, phone grips, keycaps and display pieces look like they came from a mould instead of a printer.

Four textures, four very different looks

Starry Galaxy Diamond Carbon Fibre

• Starry — a rainbow kaleidoscope sparkle that glitters and shifts colour as you tilt the part. The showiest of the four.
• Galaxy — a deeper, more liquid iridescent shimmer; reads as a swirling rainbow at an angle and settles down under flat light.
• Diamond — a crisp faceted pattern that alternates glossy and matte facets, so it catches light geometrically rather than randomly.
• Carbon Fibre — the subtle one. A fine woven texture that mimics real carbon fibre weave and suits functional or automotive-style parts.

All four reward shiny filament. Silk, glossy and metallic PLA pick up the texture dramatically; matte and plain colours give a far more restrained result.

Each plate is a ready-to-use spring-steel build plate. No adhesive sheets to align, no separate carrier plate required — these drop straight onto the magnetic bed your printer already has.

Filaments & settings

Bambu Lab recommends PLA and TPU only on these surfaces. The decorative film is not intended for high-temperature engineering materials such as ABS, ASA, PC or PA — use a textured or engineering plate for those.

• PLA: heatbed 60–65 °C
• TPU: heatbed 35–45 °C
• Slicer: set Plate Type to Smooth PEI Plate / High Temp Plate in Bambu Studio or Orca
• LiDAR owners (X1C / X1E / A1): the patterned surface can't be read reliably by the first-layer scan — skip LiDAR first-layer inspection, or pre-calibrate on a standard plate first
