Bambu Lab TPU 95A HF
$64.99inc. GST
Bambu Lab TPU 95A HF is a high-flow flexible filament that prints roughly 3× faster than standard TPU 95A — soft, grippy and tough enough for parts that bend, stretch and take a beating. Genuinely flexible & tough — 95A shore hardness with >650% elongation at break, so parts stretch and spring back instead of snapping High-flow formula — up to 12 mm³/s volumetric flow brings flexible printing closer to PLA speeds Setup: 220–240 °C nozzle · 30–35 °C bed · 100% part cooling · external spool holder (soft TPU is not AMS compatible) 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm diameter · 1 kg net spool 6 colours available — Black, White, Gray, Yellow, Blue and Red 🇦🇺 Ships from Australia — GST-inclusive pricing, fast local dispatch

About this product
Bambu Lab TPU 95A HF Flexible Filament — 1.75 mm, 1 kg
TPU 95A HF is Bambu Lab's high-flow take on flexible filament. Regular TPU has always been slow to print — the soft strand buckles inside the extruder if you push it too hard, so most people creep along and hope for the best. Bambu reformulated this one around a high-speed thermoplastic polyurethane that flows up to 12 mm³/s, about three times faster than standard TPU 95A. Flexible parts stop being an overnight job.
At 95A shore hardness it sits in the useful middle of the flexible range: firm enough to hold a shape and print cleanly, soft enough to stretch, compress and rebound (over 650% elongation at break). That makes it a first pick for phone cases and bumpers, gaskets and seals, vibration-damping feet and machine mounts, RC tyres, drone protection, watch straps, tool grips and protective covers. Hobbyists, schools and small workshops reach for it whenever a part needs to flex, grip or absorb an impact rather than crack.
Key Features
3× faster than standard TPU 95A shore hardness >650% elongation at break 12 mm³/s max flow Abrasion & impact resistant Low 30–35 °C bed temp ±0.03 mm tolerance 6 colours Vacuum-sealed with desiccant
Recommended Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 220–240 °C (the stock Bambu Studio profile runs 230 °C)
- Bed temperature: 30–35 °C on textured or smooth PEI. Note that TPU 95A HF is not rated for the Cool Plate SuperTack.
- Speed: ceiling is 12 mm³/s volumetric (about 147 mm/s linear). Keep outer walls near 80 mm/s for the cleanest surface finish.
- Part cooling: 100% — the Bambu profile runs the fan flat out for this material.
- Retraction: short and slow, around 0.8 mm at 10 mm/s. Long fast retractions jam flexible filament.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm is the standard choice; 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm also work well for chunkier flexible parts.
- Feeding: external spool holder only, with the spool free to spin. Any drag in the path shows up as under-extrusion.
Before you order — AMS compatibility: like all soft TPU, TPU 95A HF is not compatible with the AMS, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT or AMS Lite. The AMS pushes filament, and anything this flexible folds over on itself in the feed path. Run it from the external spool holder instead, where the toolhead pulls it. If you specifically need a TPU that loads into an AMS, Bambu's dedicated TPU for AMS is the harder-grade alternative.

Practical Tips
Dry it, and keep it dry. TPU absorbs moisture faster than almost anything else on the shelf, and in Australian coastal humidity an open spool can go soggy in a week. Wet TPU prints with popping, steam, stringing and weak layer bonding. Dry at 70 °C for 8 hours in a filament dryer or oven — or 80–90 °C for 12 hours on an X1-series heatbed — then store it in a sealed box with fresh desiccant below 20% RH. Silica gel keeps a dry spool dry; it will not rescue a wet one.
Give the filament an easy path. Most TPU failures are feed problems, not temperature problems. Mount the spool externally where it spins freely, keep the PTFE run short and gently curved, and avoid tight bends. If you see gaps or under-extrusion mid-print, slow the outer walls down before you touch the temperature — and resist the urge to raise retraction, since short and slow (around 0.8 mm) is what keeps flexible filament from buckling in the extruder gears.
