Bambu Lab 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter — H2 Series

Your printer has one PTFE inlet, but there's rarely only one filament you want to run through it. The Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter is a small push-fit splitter that sits in that line and turns a single input into four: one OUT port to the toolhead, four IN ports for whatever you want to feed it. Connect an AMS to one input and spare spools to the other three, or skip the AMS entirely and run four loose filaments straight in.

This is the Adapter II (Bambu part SA014) — the newer generation, supplied with five Filament II cleaning pads and the only version Bambu Lab lists as compatible with the H2C. If you own an H2 Series machine and want to run two or more AMS units, this is the part you need: the H2's filament buffers are already built into the printer, so there's no buffer or AMS Hub to add — the splitter does the job.

• Up to seven filaments on one nozzle. With an AMS on one IN port and three filaments fed directly into the others, you get the AMS's four slots plus three extras without touching the machine mid-print.
• Chain multiple AMS units. On H2 Series, P2S and X2D printers the adapter supports up to 4 × AMS 2 Pro, or up to 8 × AMS HT, on a single nozzle — the standard route to a large multi-material setup.
• Print what the AMS can't handle. TPU 95A, Bambu PET-CF and carbon- or glass-fibre filled filaments don't play nicely with an AMS feed path. Run them direct into a spare IN port instead.
• Debris stays out of your hotend. The five included Filament II cleaning pads sit at the filament outlet and scrape debris off the strand, venting it through the debris outlet on the tube expansion port. They're a consumable — replacements are sold separately.
• Directional by design. OUT goes to the toolhead; IN takes the buffer output or your loose filament. Bambu is explicit that reversing the connections can cause a blockage, so check the orientation before you push the tubes home — it's a one-minute job with no tools.

Who it's for

Makers running an H2D, H2S or H2C who want to expand past a single AMS. P1 and X1 owners who print flexible or fibre-filled material often enough to be tired of swapping the toolhead tube by hand. Schools and small workshops that want several filaments staged and ready so a print job doesn't stop for a spool change. If you only ever run one AMS and one material family, you don't need this — the standard PTFE connector already does that job.

Compatible filaments

Any 1.75 mm filament your printer supports can pass through the adapter — it's an unheated PTFE junction, not a feeder. Its particular value is with materials that an AMS struggles to feed, which you route directly into a spare IN port:

• Bambu PET-CF and other carbon-fibre filled filaments
• Glass-fibre filled filaments
• Standard PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and PA via the AMS on the remaining port

Choosing the right version

Bambu Lab sells two generations of this adapter. The original fits X2D, P2S, P1 and X1 Series and A2L machines and ships bare. This listing is the Adapter II, which adds the cleaning pads and extends compatibility across the H2 Series — including the H2C, which Bambu Lab lists as Adapter II only. If you have an H2 machine, this is the one. Also note the separate Mount for 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter, a printed bracket that holds the adapter on H2 Series frames — it's a different part and isn't included here.
