About this product
Bambu Lab 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter
Your Bambu Lab printer has one PTFE tube running into the toolhead, which means one filament source at a time. The 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter is a small, passive manifold that sits in that line and turns a single inlet into four. Leave your AMS permanently connected to one port, and keep up to three more spools — a dryer box, a roll of TPU, a spool of carbon-fibre nylon — plumbed in and ready to go.
It is a purely mechanical part. There is no board, no cable and no power required, so there is nothing to configure in firmware and nothing to go wrong electrically. It simply gives you somewhere to park the filaments you reach for most.
Why makers fit one
4 inputs, 1 output Up to 7 filaments Keeps your AMS connected TPU & CF-friendly No power needed Fits in minutes
- Stop unplugging the AMS. Abrasive and flexible filaments that shouldn't be routed through an AMS — TPU 95A, PET-CF, and other carbon- or glass-fibre reinforced materials — get their own direct path to the extruder. Your AMS stays put on its own port.
- Seven filaments within reach. With an AMS on one inlet and three spools direct-fed into the others, you have a practical working set of up to seven materials without re-routing tubes between jobs.
- Fewer tube swaps, less wear. Repeatedly pulling and reseating the toolhead PTFE tube wears the collet and risks a poor seal. One permanent junction removes that whole routine.
- Foolproof orientation. The ports are marked IN and OUT. The OUT port always faces the toolhead.
How it connects
With an AMS: run the PTFE tube from the toolhead into the adapter's OUT end, run the tube from your filament buffer's output into one of the IN ports, then feed up to three loose filaments directly into the remaining IN holes.
Without an AMS: connect the toolhead tube to OUT and feed up to four filaments directly into the IN holes.
Get the direction right. Connecting the adapter backwards can cause a filament blockage. OUT goes to the toolhead — always check before you load.
Good to know before you buy
- This is not an AMS Hub. The adapter is a mechanical tube junction with no electronics. If you are connecting additional AMS units and need them recognised and managed by the printer, the AMS Hub is the part that does that job — this adapter only merges the filament paths.
- The extra spools are fed manually. The printer will not automatically select between the three direct-fed inlets. When you slice with an external spool, you load and push that filament through yourself. Your AMS port keeps working automatically as normal.
- This version does not cover the H2 Series. It is the standard adapter for X1 Series, P1 Series, P2S, X2D and A2L. H2 Series printers — and the H2C in particular — need the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II, which is a separate item and ships with cleaning pads.
- 1.75 mm filament only, which covers the entire Bambu Lab filament range.
What's in the box
- 1 × Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter
PTFE tubing is not included — this version is supplied as the adapter only. The filament cleaning pads that come with the Adapter II are specific to that model and are not part of this package.
Who it's for
Anyone running an AMS who also prints in TPU or fibre-filled engineering materials and is tired of pulling the toolhead tube apart between jobs. It's equally useful in a school or workshop where several people share one printer and each wants their own spool loaded, and for small businesses who keep a production material on the AMS and prototype materials on the side inlets.
