Bambu Lab AMS Hub — Four AMS Units, Sixteen Colours, One Printer
A single AMS gives you four filament slots, which is plenty until you start printing multi-colour models, running a production queue, or want your support material, PLA, PETG and TPU all loaded at once. The Bambu Lab AMS Hub is the official expansion part that lets an X1 or P1 series printer address up to four AMS units — 16 filament channels — at the same time.
It's not just a splitter. The hub provides a buffered signal to each connected AMS and improves refuelling speed across multiple units, so filament changes stay reliable as you scale up. It bolts to the back of your printer in place of the standard filament buffer, and the AMS units then chain from it.

Key features
- Genuine multi-AMS support. Takes you from 4 channels to 16 without swapping spools mid-job.
- Faster refuelling. The hub improves feed speed across connected AMS units rather than daisy-chaining everything through one buffer.
- Signal redundancy. Each AMS gets a buffered signal, which keeps long multi-material prints stable.
- Replaces the filament buffer. Mounts to the rear panel using the two supplied M3x28 screws — no drilling, no printed adapters.
- Official part. Bambu Lab SA013, so firmware and Bambu Studio recognise the extra AMS units natively.

Planning a 3 or 4 AMS setup? The hub ships with what you need to connect a second AMS. To run the full four units you'll also want 2× extra 6-pin bus cables and 2× 2 m PTFE tubes. Bambu Lab recommends keeping PTFE runs as short as practical to reduce feed resistance.

Works with the X1, X1 Carbon, X1E, P1P and P1S paired with standard AMS units.
Please note: this is the X1/P1 series hub. It is not the A1 / A1 mini AMS lite hub — those printers use a different AMS Hub part. Check your printer model before ordering.
