About this product
Bambu Lab TPU High-Flow Kit — H2D
Flexible filament is slow for one reason: it's soft, so it buckles and drags before it melts. Bambu Lab's TPU High-Flow hotend attacks that with an extended melt zone and a low-resistance filament path, and the numbers are substantial — roughly double the flow on TPU 90A (2.8 → 5.6 mm³/s) and around 30% off a typical TPU print. For anyone printing shoe soles, gaskets, phone cases, drone bumpers or short production runs in TPU on an H2D, it's the single upgrade that changes how practical flexible printing is.
This listing covers the whole family: the complete kit (both hotends plus the install hardware) and each individual hotend as a spare. Pick the configuration below.
~100% more flow on 90A ~30% shorter prints 0.4 & 0.6 mm H2D / H2D Pro Few-minute install

| Option | What you get | Choose it if… |
|---|---|---|
|
High Flow Kit 0.4 & 0.6 mm with accessories |
Both hotends, TPU High-Flow Front Cover Guide, TPU hotend cover, standard hotend cover, 2× M2×5 screws | This is your first TPU high-flow setup — it's the only option with the parts needed to convert the printer |
|
0.4 mm Hotend spare use |
One 0.4 mm High-Flow TPU hotend (FAH068) | You already own the kit and want a replacement, or detail-focused flexible parts: seals, cable boots, small wearables |
|
0.6 mm Hotend spare use |
One 0.6 mm High-Flow TPU hotend (FAH069) | You already own the kit and want maximum throughput: midsoles, large gaskets, bumpers, batch runs |
Short version: if you haven't fitted a TPU high-flow hotend to this printer before, buy the kit. The spare-use options are bare hotends for owners who already have the cover guide and screws installed.
Flow rates: standard hotend vs high-flow TPU hotend
| Filament | Standard 0.4 mm | Standard 0.6 mm | High-Flow 0.4 mm | High-Flow 0.6 mm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TPU 85A | Not supported | 2.2 mm³/s | 2.5 mm³/s | 4.8 mm³/s |
| TPU 90A | 2.8 mm³/s | 2.8 mm³/s | 5.6 mm³/s | 5.6 mm³/s |
| TPU 95A HF | 12 mm³/s | 12 mm³/s | 16 mm³/s | 16 mm³/s |
Worth noting: the softest material in the range, TPU 85A, isn't supported through a standard 0.4 mm hotend at all. The high-flow hotend is what makes it printable at that nozzle size.
What's in the box (full kit)
- 1× 0.4 mm High-Flow TPU Hotend
- 1× 0.6 mm High-Flow TPU Hotend

Three things to know before you order
- Right nozzle only. Fitted to the left position it will cause the nozzle lifting mechanism to malfunction.
- The filament cutter comes out and stays out. With the TPU hotend installed the cutter can't be refitted, so the right nozzle loses automatic filament change, auto load and auto unload — plan on loading flexibles manually on that side.
- Flexibles only. The hotend has a special internal coating for soft filament. Running PLA, PETG or other rigid material through it wears the coating out and the part won't recover.
Who it's for
Makers printing phone cases, grips, seals and wearables who are tired of 12-hour TPU jobs. Small businesses prototyping footwear, protective covers and vibration mounts where flexible throughput is the bottleneck. Schools and workshops that want flexible printing to finish inside a lesson or a shift. And H2D owners who already print a lot of TPU and simply need a fresh hotend — that's what the spare-use options are for.
