Bambu Lab PET-CF is a carbon-fibre reinforced PET engineering filament that prints stiff, dimensionally stable, heat-resistant parts with the low warping of standard PET.
PET-CF is Bambu Lab’s carbon-fibre reinforced PET engineering filament. Chopped carbon fibre is blended into a tough PET base, which lifts stiffness, strength and heat resistance well above everyday PLA or PETG while keeping PET’s low shrinkage and low warping. The result is a filament that holds its shape under load and at elevated temperatures, with a soft matte carbon finish straight off the plate.
It’s aimed at makers, workshops, engineering students and small businesses printing parts that actually have to do a job: brackets, jigs and fixtures, drone and RC frames, tool mounts, automotive and under-bonnet trim pieces, robotics arms and structural housings. If you’ve been reaching for PETG and finding it too soft or too heat-sensitive, PET-CF is the logical step up. It runs on enclosed, high-temperature capable printers — Bambu Lab X1 series, P1 series and compatible third-party machines — and requires a hardened steel nozzle.

Dry it, then keep it dry. PET-CF absorbs moisture quickly, and wet filament is the number one cause of stringing, popping sounds during extrusion, brittle parts and poor layer adhesion. Dry a fresh spool before its first print, run it from a dryer or an AMS with fresh desiccant during long jobs, and store it sealed with desiccant between prints — particularly through a humid Australian summer.
Set the printer up for abrasive filament. Fit a hardened steel nozzle before your first PET-CF print — a brass nozzle will wear out fast and quietly ruin your dimensional accuracy. Keep part cooling low, print slowly on the first layer, and if a part will see real load or heat, anneal it at 80–140°C for 6–12 hours to squeeze out the last of its strength and heat resistance. Expect a small amount of shrinkage after annealing, so test-fit critical tolerances first.
Nour Engineering Solutions accepts returns or refunds for change of mind or wrong items ordered within 30 days from the purchase date. Customers need to return the items to Nour Engineering Solutions, ensuring the items are in brand new, unused condition. Customers will also be charged for the cost of the original shipping and a re-stocking fee equal to 10% of the order value.
In case of items arriving damaged or wrong items being sent to the customer, Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for either exchanging stock for the customer or issuing a refund.
In the case of defective returns, refunds will only be issued after the items are returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for the return postage, and the customer should provide reasonable assistance for the defective items to be picked up by courier, such as packing the items and printing shipping labels.
Once the order is dispatched, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up the shipment. If the items arrive damaged, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions within 2 business days after receiving the order. If the item does not arrive within 2 business days of the expected delivery date, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions immediately. Nour Engineering Solutions may refuse to refund or exchange items if the customer fails to do so.
In case the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the parcel will be forwarded to the local Post Office or News Agency. Failure to pick up parcels within the required timeframe may result in the parcel being returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. In this case, customers will be responsible for the costs associated with re-sending the parcel.
