Bambu Lab PVA is a water-soluble support filament that dissolves away in plain water, leaving clean surfaces under every overhang, cavity and moving part.
PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) isn’t a filament you print models from — it’s the filament that makes difficult models possible. Printed as support material alongside PLA or PETG, it holds up overhangs, bridges, internal channels and captive moving parts, then dissolves completely in water when the print comes off the plate. No flush cutters, no scarred surfaces, no giving up on a geometry because you can’t reach inside it to clean it up.
It’s the natural next step for makers running a multi-material setup: articulated models and print-in-place mechanisms, drone and RC parts with enclosed cavities, engineering prototypes with internal cooling channels, lattice and organic shapes, and school or workshop projects where hand-removing supports isn’t practical. Bambu Lab embeds all printing parameters in the spool’s RFID tag, so an AMS or AMS lite reads the profile automatically — but any 1.75mm printer with multi-material capability can run it with the settings below.

PVA is a support material, so it’s supplied in a single natural clear shade — the finished look of your part comes from the PLA or PETG you pair it with.
Keep it bone dry. PVA is the most moisture-hungry filament most people will ever run — it pulls water straight out of humid Australian air, and damp PVA jams, bubbles and strings badly. Dry it at 80°C for 12 hours before the first print, keep it in a sealed box with fresh desiccant between jobs, and run it from a dry AMS or a heated dryer rather than leaving it on an open shelf overnight.
Dissolving works best with patience. Soak the finished print in warm (not boiling) water and let it sit — a few hours for thin interface layers, overnight for dense internal supports. Gently agitating the water or swapping it once speeds things up. Don’t pour heavily saturated PVA water down the drain in a hard-water area; let it dilute well or dispose of it with your general waste water.
Nour Engineering Solutions accepts returns or refunds for change of mind or wrong items ordered within 30 days from the purchase date. Customers need to return the items to Nour Engineering Solutions, ensuring the items are in brand new, unused condition. Customers will also be charged for the cost of the original shipping and a re-stocking fee equal to 10% of the order value.
In case of items arriving damaged or wrong items being sent to the customer, Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for either exchanging stock for the customer or issuing a refund.
In the case of defective returns, refunds will only be issued after the items are returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. Nour Engineering Solutions will be responsible for the return postage, and the customer should provide reasonable assistance for the defective items to be picked up by courier, such as packing the items and printing shipping labels.
Once the order is dispatched, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up the shipment. If the items arrive damaged, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions within 2 business days after receiving the order. If the item does not arrive within 2 business days of the expected delivery date, the customer should notify Nour Engineering Solutions immediately. Nour Engineering Solutions may refuse to refund or exchange items if the customer fails to do so.
In case the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the parcel will be forwarded to the local Post Office or News Agency. Failure to pick up parcels within the required timeframe may result in the parcel being returned to Nour Engineering Solutions. In this case, customers will be responsible for the costs associated with re-sending the parcel.
