Bambu Lab Front Glass Door

The front door does more work than it gets credit for. It holds chamber heat where high-temperature filaments need it, keeps fumes and noise in, keeps fingers and dust out, and gives you a clear view of the first layer without opening anything. When that glass cracks, chips at a corner, or stops sitting flush against its magnets, ABS and ASA prints start lifting and splitting long before you'd blame the door.

These are genuine Bambu Lab replacement front glass doors, in the two fitments that cover the enclosed Bambu range: one for the P1S, X1C and X1E, and the larger H2 series door for the H2D, H2D Pro, H2S and H2C. Genuine glass matters here more than on most spare parts — hinge pin spacing, panel thickness and magnet contact points all have to match the frame, or you get a door that closes but never truly seals.

Choose P1S / X1C / X1E if you run any of the compact enclosed machines. The P1S and X1C share the same door specification, so one part number covers a mixed bench. This is also the glass half of a P1P enclosure conversion — for that job you'll also want the Front Door Mounting Kit and the P1S front cover.

Choose H2D for the large-format H2 family. One caution worth reading twice: if your H2D or H2C has the laser module installed, this black glass door is the wrong part — laser machines require the green Front Laser Safety Window, and the laser will refuse to run behind plain glass.

When it's time for a new door

• Cracked, chipped or shattered glass — usually a knock during maintenance or transport
• The door won't sit flush — a bent hinge or dropped magnet leaves a gap along one edge
• Chamber temperature won't hold — the classic cause of warped ABS/ASA corners and layer splitting on PC and PA
• Scratched or hazed viewing panel — years of solvent wipes make first-layer checks harder than they should be
• P1P enclosure upgrade — the frame ships without a door, so the glass is a required part

Hardware you may also need

Neither door ships with hinges, magnets or silicone seals — those are in the matching Front Door Mounting Kit. The X1/P1 kit contains an upper and lower hinge, a silicone door strip, 2 × door frame magnets and hinge screws. The H2 series kit contains an upper and lower hinge, left and right door silicone, 3 × magnets and the M3-3 / M2.5-5 / M2.5-4 screw set. If your existing hardware is straight and the magnets are all present, buy the glass on its own.
