The glass cover plate is the transparent lid that sits across the top of your H2 series printer. It's a genuine Bambu Lab part (SKU FAS045) and the correct replacement if yours has been chipped, cracked, deeply scratched, or went missing during a move or workshop reshuffle.

It isn't just a dust lid. On an enclosed printer the top cover is what holds chamber heat in, and chamber temperature is the difference between a clean ABS part and one that warps or splits along the layer lines. Running with a damaged or absent cover means losing that heat, plus letting the enclosure's filtration draw from the room instead of the chamber.

Handling note

Tempered glass is tough against heat and scratching but will shatter if dropped on a hard edge. Lift it with two hands, rest it on a soft surface while you work, and let it cool before removing it after a high-temperature print.
