About this product
Nozzle Blocker Magnet Bracket — H2D / H2C
On a dual-nozzle H2D or H2C, the nozzle blocker swings across the idle hotend to stop it drooling onto your part. The bracket that makes that work is this one: it bolts to the bottom of the toolhead and holds the three magnets that catch and hold the blocker every time the printer switches hotends. When the magnets stop grabbing — after a knock, a crash, or a nozzle change that went sideways — you'll see the blocker sitting off-centre, hanging loose, or failing to seat, and ooze marks start turning up on your prints.
This is the genuine Bambu Lab spare (part FAC090), supplied with the two screws needed to fit it. It's a ten-minute job with a single Allen key.
Genuine OEM part Holds 3 magnets Metal build Screws included H2D & H2C
What it does
Bambu Lab describes it simply: the bracket "is installed at the bottom of the toolhead and holds three magnets that secure the Nozzle Blocker in place." It's a passive part — no wiring, no sensors, no firmware — but it's the piece that decides whether the blocker lands cleanly against the idle nozzle or sits crooked. A bent, cracked or demagnetised bracket is the usual culprit behind a blocker that won't stay put.
When you need one
- The nozzle blocker sits off-centre or won't seat against the idle nozzle
- The blocker no longer "snaps" home when the printer switches hotends
- The bracket was damaged during a hotend swap, crash or toolhead strip-down
- You keep a spares kit for a workshop, classroom or print farm and want downtime measured in minutes
What's in the box
- 1 × Nozzle Blocker Magnet Bracket (FAC090)
- 2 × M2.5-5 fixing screws
Please note: this is the bracket only. The nozzle blocker / flow blocker assembly itself is a separate spare part, and the H2.0 Allen key needed to fit the bracket is not included in the pack — it's the one supplied in your printer's toolkit.
Fitting it
Bambu Lab's official procedure (wiki: Replace Nozzle Blocker Magnet Bracket) runs as follows — and always power the printer off and unplug it first, to avoid shorting the electronics:
- Use the H2.0 Allen key to remove the 2 fixing screws, then detach the old bracket.
- Align the new bracket with the screw holes on the toolhead, following the positioning diagram in the wiki.
- Tighten the 2 fixing screws with the H2.0 Allen key.
- Reconnect power, switch the hotend from the screen, and check the nozzle blocker swings properly and is held securely by the magnets.
