About this product
Bambu Lab Cool Plate SuperTack Pro — H2C (330 × 320 mm)
If you print mostly PLA and PETG on your Bambu Lab H2C, this is the build plate that makes glue sticks redundant. The Cool Plate SuperTack Pro uses a high-tack low-temperature coating that grabs the first layer the moment it lands — thin-walled parts, tall skinny models and big flat bases that would normally curl simply stay put. When the plate cools, the grip lets go and the part lifts off with a flex.
The "Pro" version is the upgraded surface: Bambu rates it at around 25% longer durable sticky performance than the standard SuperTack coating, with less than 20% adhesion loss after 300 prints in typical use. It also runs roughly 10% cooler than conventional textured plates, which means shorter bed heat-up times and less energy per print — handy if your printer lives in a classroom, a bedroom or a small workshop running jobs back to back.
This listing is the H2C-specific plate (FAP041) with a 330 × 320 mm usable print area. It drops straight onto the H2C heatbed — magnetic, tool-free, no calibration gymnastics beyond your usual auto bed levelling.

Key features
- Adhesion without adhesive. The SuperTack coating does the job a glue stick normally does, so there's no residue to scrub off and no patchy coverage causing a corner to lift mid-print.
- Cool-running by design. PLA sticks at around a 45 °C bed and PETG at around 60 °C — lower bed temps mean less heat soak in the chamber and less elephant-foot on the first layer.
- Releases on cooldown. Parts hold firm while hot and let go once the plate drops to roughly 50 °C. Flex the plate and the model pops — no chisel work, no gouged surface.
- Built to last. A 0.05 mm coating over 0.4 mm spring steel, rated to a 120 °C maximum surface temperature, with Pro-grade wear life for high-throughput users.
- Smooth glossy bottoms. Unlike textured PEI, this surface leaves a clean, near-glass finish on the first layer — ideal for display pieces, signage and parts that will be painted.
- A sensible second plate. Swap plates between jobs instead of waiting for one to cool — a practical workflow upgrade for schools, makerspaces and small production runs.

Material compatibility
| Filament | Bed temperature | Glue required |
|---|---|---|
| PLA / PLA Matte / PLA Basic | ~45 °C | No |
| PETG / PETG HF | ~60 °C | No |
| Silk PLA | Bambu PLA Silk+ only — third-party silk filaments are not recommended | No |
| TPU | Not supported — TPU will damage the coating. Use a Textured PEI or Engineering Plate instead. | |
| ABS / ASA / PC / PA / CF-filled | Not suitable — these need bed temps above this plate's 120 °C surface rating. Use a Textured PEI or Engineering Plate. | |
Care: clean with warm water and dish soap, then dry fully before printing. Never use acetone, IPA-heavy scrubbing or other organic solvents — they strip the SuperTack coating. Handle the plate by the edges; skin oils on the print surface are the most common cause of "my plate stopped sticking".

Who it's for
H2C owners who run PLA and PETG day in, day out: prototypers chasing clean glossy bottoms, schools and makerspaces that would rather not hand students a glue stick, and small businesses printing batches where a second plate keeps the machine moving. If your work is mostly ABS, ASA, PC, nylon or TPU, pair your H2C with a Textured PEI or Engineering Plate instead — and keep this one for the low-temp jobs.
