Every printer owner has done it: a PETG part welds itself to the plate, you reach for a kitchen knife or an old paint scraper, and you end up with a scratch across your build surface that shows up in every print afterwards. A proper scraper is the cheapest insurance your build plate will ever get. This three-pack of SK5 hardened steel scrapers is Bambu Lab's own answer — a thin, rigid blade that slips under a corner where a thick tool simply can't.

Because they arrive as a set of three, you're not nursing one tired blade for a year. SK5 is a high-carbon tool steel, so the edge stays keen through plenty of removals — but the moment one starts to drag or dull, you retire it and move to the next. A worn scraper is exactly what chews up a textured PEI or Cool Plate coating, so cheap, frequent replacement is the whole point.

• Thin enough to actually get under the part. The leading edge is ground fine, so it wedges beneath a 0.2 mm first layer instead of skidding over the top of it.

How to use one without wrecking your plate

1. Let the plate cool first. Adhesion drops sharply as the sheet comes down to room temperature — most prints release with barely any force once cool, and hot coatings mark far more easily.
2. Take the plate off the printer. Never pry against a magnetic bed still sitting on the machine; you risk knocking the gantry out of true.
3. Pick a corner. Slide the scraper gently under one corner of the model, keeping the blade as flat to the sheet as you can — a steep angle is what digs in.
4. Flex, don't chisel. Once the corner lifts, bend the spring steel sheet and let the print pop free. The scraper starts the job; the flex finishes it.
5. Retire dull blades early. As soon as an edge drags, nicks or rounds off, swap to a fresh one. A blunt scraper needs more force, and force is what damages coatings.

Print yourself a handle. These ship as bare steel blades — no moulded grip in the box. Bambu publishes a free Bambu Scraper Grip model on MakerWorld that clips straight onto the supplied blade, and the community has produced screwless clip-in handles too. It's a ten-minute print in PLA and makes the tool far nicer to hold.
