About this product
Bambu Lab H2S — the biggest build volume Bambu Lab makes
The H2S is Bambu Lab's large-format single-nozzle printer, and it exists for one reason: to print things that don't fit anywhere else in the range. At 340 × 320 × 340 mm the build chamber is about 120% larger than an X1 Carbon's — helmets, drone frames, full-size tooling jigs, costume armour and multi-part assemblies all go on the plate in one piece instead of being sliced up and glued back together.
Where it earns its keep, though, is the 65 °C actively heated chamber. Combined with a 350 °C all-metal hotend and a 120 °C bed, that means ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PET and carbon- or glass-fibre reinforced blends print reliably rather than hopefully. Big ABS parts stop delaminating. PA stops curling off the corners. For a small business making functional end-use parts, that's the whole ballgame.
Speed hasn't been traded away for size. A closed-loop servo extruder delivering up to 10 kg of extrusion force drives the toolhead to 1,000 mm/s at 20,000 mm/s², with 40 mm³/s standard flow (65 mm³/s with the optional high-flow hotend). Twenty-three sensors, three cameras and five flame sensors keep watch while it runs, so overnight jobs are a reasonable thing to ask of it.

Which configuration is right for you?
All three share the same printer. The difference is what's bolted on and what's in the carton alongside it.
| Configuration | What you get | Choose it if… |
|---|---|---|
| H2S | Printer, textured PEI plate, spool holder, accessory box, ventilation pipe, safety key. Single-colour printing. | You print one material at a time and want maximum build volume for the least outlay. AMS can be added later — the ports are already fitted. |
| H2S AMS Combo | Everything above plus the AMS 2 Pro — four slots, RFID filament recognition, and active heated drying with an electromagnetic air vent. | You want multi-colour prints, soluble supports, or four materials loaded and dried ready to go. The most popular pick for schools and busy workshops. |
| H2S Laser Full Combo | Everything above plus a 10 W laser module, cutting platform, air assist, BirdsEye camera and a hardware emergency stop button. | You want laser cutting and engraving in the same enclosure — signage, prototyping, maker spaces and classrooms that can't fit two machines. |
What people actually use it for
- Small manufacturers — end-use ASA and PC parts, jigs, fixtures and short-run tooling that need the heated chamber to hold tolerance.
- Product designers — full-size prototypes in one piece, with multi-colour AMS prints for client presentation models.
- Schools and TAFEs — one enclosed machine covering 3D printing and (on the Laser Full Combo) laser work, with an emergency stop for risk assessments.
- Cosplay and props — helmets and armour sections printed whole rather than sliced and seamed.
- Drone, RC and motorsport builders — carbon-fibre-filled nylon parts that need a 350 °C hotend and a hardened nozzle.

Before you order
The H2S is a heavy, bulky machine — allow roughly 500 × 520 × 630 mm of bench space plus clearance for the lid and door, and plan on two people for the unboxing. If you'll be printing ABS, ASA or running the laser, connect the supplied ventilation pipe to an outside vent or a Bambu Lab air filter. A standard 10 A Australian outlet is sufficient.
